Best workout for 50 plus women - in menopause or post-menopausal

Everything I've read says weight training is best for muscle building in women post 50. I have really bad muscle wasting (sarcopenia) and cellulite. Made a lot worse by losing 16 kgs last year (using keto and intermittent fasting). Now it's time to get it together physically. That's never been easy for me to maintain.

Does anyone have a success story? Or can you tell me if bodyweight exercises and home weights (eg fitnessblender) will work on muscle wasting and sarcopenia in my age group. If so, what is the best workout?
