Losing Weight with FBStrong?

I'm on my 3rd week of Abs 2 right now and I'm debating making Strong my next program. Besides positive changes in my mood and energy level, I haven't noticed much progress with Abs. I know my diet isn't 100% but I'm still growing pretty frustrated. I definitely want to switch to something strength-focused (I just need a break from HIIT) and I'm wondering if anyone has lost weight with Strong? I know it's not the most obvious choice, but I'm hoping that combining it with a couple of runs may still lead to some results.
