Workouts between Programs

Hi everyone!

If you are doing several programs, do you arrange some sort of recovery after each program? I read a few posts where people described doing a few programs back to back and that the body didnt have the most positive response to that sort of activity (mostly quite intense I think).

How much time do you think is necessary to recover from a 4 week intense program?

I personally have a few days of just stretching and yoga/pilates exercises (3 day Flexibility challenge, today is day 2) but today I just had to do a strength training on my upper body and then the pilates workout, I guess I miss my energy expenditure when Im at home doing nothing during the weekend. I plan to start FB30 on Tuesday with a HIIT/lower body workout.
