Working Out While Recovering from Injury

I'm curious to hear other people's stories, tips, suggestion, etc. for continuing to workout while recovering from injury. I pinched a nerve in my shoulder a while back and recovery is taking a while.

I've been careful not to push things to far, but I do miss going full out with upper body work. I especially have to be careful and do very little weight bearing things like push-ups, mountain climbers, triceps dips, planks for too much. I'm even watching it on the downward dogs!.

What are your favorite substitute exercises or routines for maintaining upper body strength? What are your favorite stretches. I'm already getting regular massage therapy, which is making a big difference.
