Getting My Health Back on Track!

Hello FB community! I will be starting FB Sweat tomorrow. Really excited and a bit nervous at the same time.

A bit about me: I have been a fairly healthy person throughout my life. When I turned 49, I had a goal to run in a 5k when I was 50. I joined a class through my local community that helped me reach that goal. I ran for another 3 years and loved the sport. Unfortunately I had to stop running because I have RA and it was hurting my feet.

I have since gone through menopause and my metabolism has slowed WAY down. So, my lack of exercise coupled with my slower metabolism has caused me to gain about 15% - 20% of my pre-menopause "normal" weight over the last two years. No amount of healthy eating is helping me lose the weight, so of course the other component of health is exercise!

I love all the positive feedback in this community and look forward to sharing my journey (the good, the bad, and the ugly) with you!
