Adding abs to a program?

So my previous program was FB Abs, and there was an extra ten minute abs workout as extra credit most days. I'm doing the FB Blend program right now and I've noticed my abs feeling a little less strong (which makes sense considering the previous program was specifically ab focused). Would it be safe to add a ten minute ab workout at the end of each weekday workout with FB Blend? I know the program is designed to be very specific and methodical, so I don't want to mess things up or overwork something I'm not supposed to.
