Postpartum Workout. Where to Begin?!

Hi! I am 8 weeks postpartum (yes, I got the clearance to exercise from my dr) and I am so weak! I was weak even before getting pregnant. My exercising goal is to strengthen myself rather than lose the baby fat (though that's always a plus). I am definitely at beginner level. But I don't even know what to look for? Core strengthening? Any advice?
