Workout programs

Hello everyone! I am new here and I really enjoy FB and it's lovely workout videos! I was thinking of creating my own workout schedule and plan since I am currently a college student and wanted it to be flexible to my schedule. I was wondering if I work out 3 times a week is that enough or should I do more? I was thinking of doing HIITS, Strength Training, and other medium cardio workouts through out the week (looking on loosing some weight). Any suggestions for creating my own weekly workout program would be super appreciated! Thank you!
