FB Burn Round 1 Day 23

Day 23 included the Killer Chest work out bonus challenge....aka 10 minutes of pushups.. anyone have other suggestions on how to get closer to doing a real push up?? It feels like no matter how much I try I am not improving. I have tried knees, against the wall and also elevated using stairs or something else. I really want to improve!
