Alternating between gym and FB bodyweight workouts

Hello,

I have enrolled in FB Bodyweight - Round 2 - No Equipment Workouts to Burn Fat and Tone Up

I am already used to doing a strength training workout (45 mins - 270-300 Cal) full body workout in the gym with equipment since past 5 months. I got really nice results and lost 10 kgs through this. However, after 5 months of following the same routine 5 days/week I was looking for something different. Hence, I purchased this program.

I would like to know if it would be a good idea to do my full body weight training on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and do the FB plan alternatively on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

( Sundays - Recovery days)

Since I am not a fitness expert and I haven't tried anything new I wanted to get an opinion on this. I still need to loose 5 more kgs and I don't want to hinder my progress with this change. I am just too scared to try this out. Has anyone of you tried something like this before?
