To bridge or not to bridge!?

So I’m sure many of you have heard Kelli suggest going into a bridge during chest flies/presses and a few other arm moves, and Daniel add in that doing this works a slightly different part of the chest than lying flat. What do you do with this info?

I have been pressing up into a bridge for a long time with Kelli because I liked the idea of working my butt along with my upper body. However earlier this week I tried staying flat down and discovered that I was actually struggling to maintain form in this position. So, now, I’ve been trying to even out and make sure I’m strong in both positions.

Do you alternate back and forth between the two? Just pick the form you like most and stick with it? Anyone else discovered imbalances like this?
