FB Strong complete :)

So, that was it! My first complete round of FB Strong! And I've got myself a new favorite program! :D

I was really happy to win the program in the weekly giveaway a month ago and wanted to directly start into it. Sadly, then our furry trainer passed away, so I took a whole week off from training. In hindsight, this week gave me alot of power, so I could really push myself throughout the whole 4 weeks and finish the program without missing a single day.

I really enjoyed the total body strength approach, the big amount of heavy lifting, the variability of the different workouts... and I feel like I made a big step further on the fitness road. I got alot better in several exercises throughout the last weeks and months. Especially my shoulders, back and chest got alot stronger. Not sure if I mentioned it, but fiiiinally the last small symptomes of last year's shoulder injury are gone!

In addition to the sceduled workouts, I did a couple of rubberband exercises for my posture (band pull aparts and face pulls) on a daily basis, and I added a short core workout between 5 and 20 minutes to all days except the specific core days. With so much sports on my daily plan, I took a break from doing my pull ups... just did them once this week, but I want to get back to doing them, soon.

Another interesting point was that I changed my calorie-intake, because I think that I have reached a good weight that I'd like to hold. I aim for an equal energy balance now and actually I gained one pound throughout the program. I am very positive that it's muscle mass, since I think that expecially my belly/abs are among the muscles that made the best progress. On the last pic it still looked like one big ab per side, now it's already four of them visible when I flex them :D Really looking forward to see where this will end! Next week I plan to start another round of FB Flex.
