The thing with kickboxing...

Hi folks,

I say it every time, but this community is great for alternate perspectives and sage fitness people! I hope you're able to help me with this one.

I have found I avoid kickboxing workouts. It's not because I feel uncoordinated, I can follow along pretty well. I have the cardio capacity to go full tilt (well, some of the time anyway), but if I really do the excercises with intention, I feel intuitively like I'm going to pull a muscle or otherwise injure myself with the fast/jerking movement. This is especially the case with the upper body, I think the movements where I am most concerned is the cross punch and hook.

Am I worrying about nothing, or perhaps I'm not strong enough in these areas?
