Types of workout



I`m very happy doing a variety of FB workouts. I`ve recently started up running again (as well as FB stuff), as I love exercising outside in the fresh air. My heart rate is at peak for most of the (half hour) run, but I hardly ever achieve this during HIIT and cardio routines (despite pushing myself until my muscles are screaming at me). Is HIIT still a superior workout to running if this is the case?
