Balance?

I'm on day 9 of FB Sweat, and yesterdays workout was a total body strength workout for people who get bored easily. It has a lot of moves that are 'dynamic', which typically requires good coordination and a lot of BALANCE. For example, this fun little move - Forward Lunge & Reverse Leg Lift + Tricep Kickback - is almost impossible for me to do properly because I pretty much spend the entire time trying to coordinate, figure out HOW to do it, and then trying to balance myself in a lunge (which I already struggle to do). Does anyone else have this issue? I know these moves are good for your body but I'm not getting the full benefit because I'm not able to accomplish them. My core is very weak, maybe that has something to do with it. Any suggestions on how to work on my balance and coordination?
