Cardio questions

Hello i am doing fb strong for the 4th time (1st time in 5 month) i was wondering about cardio if i should try to add 30 mins for weight loss? I have an elliptical machine at home , or should i do any fb video like kickboxing? And if yes cardio after workout ? Also after the cool down or before ? Thanksx
