What's your favorite FB hack?

Hi everyone,

I've been taking it easy on HIIT for the last year. I started getting bruises from broken blood vessels when I was doing the more dynamic forms of HIIT, so I need to stick with jump squats, lateral hops, etc. You know, the repetitive stuff that is easily predicted in terms of your body absorbing impact.

That's part of what led me to hacking a bunch of FB workouts to better accommodate my preferred form of low-impact -- my elliptical machine. I get bored with the form of low-impact that calls for just slowing down higher impact moves. I like to work up more of a sweat, so I do sprint programs on the elliptical and watch TV while I'm doing it.

I don't know if anyone ever sort of Frankenstein's their own workout out of existing FB workouts, but I thought I'd share two of my favorite combos and was wondering if anyone else has their own "I made this out of other workouts!" type of things.

First up is this: https://www.fitnessblender.com/videos/at-home-strength-and-pilates-butt-and-thigh-workout

Taking the idea from a different video here, I add 10 jump squats in at the end of every strength followed by Pilates interval. Makes for a really nice workout!

Then this is slightly strange, using weights, makes for a great workout because it's paced so quickly. So the first 11 minutes of this (so one set beyond the water break), with weights, stopping before pilates and then doing this one:

That I do extend by turning all toes-in/toes-out to one-legged deadlifts, 10 each side (I just pause the video).

Followed by 20 in the elliptical.

Holy crow, did that make for a fun one!

Anyone have any hacks they want to share?
