Hi, I’m a newbie here. I’m 62 yo female, I do strength training 2x a week, I get good cardio 3 days a week, but the glitch is HIIT training. Right now I do HIIT on an elliptical at the gym, 2 Times a week, 25 mins each, so now I’m trying FB for HIIT goals. It’s so easy to get my HR up on elliptical, I do 30:60 right now, but when I do a HIIT video, I can’t get my HR up very high, I’m sure it’s partly from my not being familiar with the moves, and since the high intensity is just 20 seconds, I’m not getting into the HR zone quickly enough. Any thoughts on this?

Do I have to go back to the elliptical? Thanks!
