Daily Check-in: Monday, January 28th

Hello, and Happy Monday (or Tuesday) Blenders!

So here's a pic of Todd the Red Fox's den! It's hard to tell, but this thing goes through several feet of snow, and into frozen ground. And all those marks in the snow are from Todd's burrowing! Now that's some determination, Todd! haha

I have gotten pictures of Todd, but they're horribly blurry because my camera was dying. 😔 Oh well. Hopefully I'll get to see Todd again!

So Blenders, how are you all doing today? Feeling good?

I'm actually home-bound today. It's currently -20 degrees (F), and we're supposed to get a good amount of snow with heavy wind today--so driving in this is not really worth the risk. Granted, we aren't supposed to get as much as the Northern Lower, but still a good shot of snow. Add in 20 mph winds, and that's a "Nope" for Kim today. haha (Can't even get out of my driveway anyway--it fills in faster than I can shovel it! lol)

Anywho, how about you Blenders? What's goin on in your corner of the world today? And did you have a good weekend? I hope so!

And whoa, Nelly, are my upper body muscles STILL feeling it! So a nice lower body workout will feel great today!

I'm excited for new colors of Workout Complete gear too! My hubby already said he's willing to take an extra job to feed my workout clothes addiction. So, I mean, I'm set! 😅 (jk of course)

Ok, let's talk about some good food happenin today!

What's on the menu for today, Fellow Blenders?

I'm having split pea soup! I made a big batch with ham hocks yesterday, and I made a big loaf of honey whole wheat Challah bread to go with it! It was my first ever attempt at a 6-braid Challah, and it came out pretty good! I can't wait to try it again soon!

Alright Blenders, I think that's more than enough rambling from me today!

P.S.: How would you guys feel about doing a Community Challenge that consisted of only FB kettlebell workouts (they are easily adapted to using a dumbbell, so a kettlebell isn't necessarily required)? Just an idea, let me know if it's something ya'll would be interested in!
