A jog on optional 6th day for recovery ?

Hi everyone and I wish you the happiest celebrations ! :) I hope you are having a beautful time with your loved ones, and that you treat yourself to do what you love.

My question is simple : I just finished five days of training, and this is the 6th day. I'm feeling a little bit sore. My mother sometimes do light jog to recover from harshest run.

Can you do a light jog +stretching after on the 6th day to help recovery ? Would that be too much ? Do some of you do that ? :)

I really like the 5 day plan, and I love the idea that when you jog, it's a weekend thing, music playing in your ears, you're going to have a nice stretch after... it make it all so cosÿ, a bit out of time if you are sleeping in ! :D
