🇬🇪 Georgian Food

#chefinthemaking had the day off on Wednesday.

As usual on days off, we had no sooner finished breakfast than she started asking what I wanted to eat for lunch and dinner.

“Okay, I’ll play this game,” I thought to myself.

“Let’s have khinkali” (Georgian...the country, not the state...dumplings).

“Okay,” she says, without hesitation.

“Sweetie, I was kidding...they take forever.”

“Too late - because now I want them!”

P.S. She even threw in a nice Georgian salad (tomatoes, cucumbers, onion...with walnut sauce) to round it out.
