Early Christmas celebrations

We celebrated today since we are headed to Japan for the main event.

So excited that I got powerblocks 😀 I also got a great cookbook of soup recipes with proceeds to the Syrian humanitarian funds.

For food I made a platter of starters which we had for lunch. Tartlets with duck pate, goats cheese and beetroot and cream cheese with smoked salmon served with crackers, grapes and raspberries.

Then for dinner, I got a turkey breast at the farmers market and stuffed it using this recipe: https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/5040/pancettawrapped-turkey-breast-with-herby-lemon-and

Served with potato, sweet potato, parsnip, Brussels sprouts with chestnuts and pancetta, pigs in blankets and homemade Yorkshire puddings. All with cranberry sauce and gravy of course. I have a massive container of leftovers too - that’s work lunches for the week sorted!!

Have you decided what food you will eat/make on Christmas Day yet?
