One of the best smells from the kitchen of #chefinthemaking has to be roasted almonds.
The smell itself is great, but it’s really the anticipation of what’s coming (homemade almond butter!)…and all of the good things I’m gonna eat it with.
On toast. With honey. Between pancakes. On an apple. Right out of the jar with a spoon (shhh…don’t tell her). Spread on a tortilla. With banana. On a PB&J (okay, AB&J) sandwich.
Do any of you make your own almond butter, peanut butter, or the like? It's (evidently) super easy...and it certainly tastes sooooo much better than anything you can get in a grocery store. Oh, and nothing processed...
