Ever taken a moment after a workout to appreciate your brain?

Kind of a weird way to start a conversation, but it's honestly worth adding to the list of things you're grateful for - the human brain. Think about everything it's doing every milisecond. Taking in reflected light and showing you a deciphered image that is its best estimation of what and where something will be by the time you "see" it. Running all your organs. Sending and receiving signals to and from every area of your body. All as you workout, requiring even more rapid signalling, and listen to music or watch TV which involves entire other processes.

Our brain is awesome even on days where we can't seem to focus and are just kinda vegging out. It's not something I think people take the time to stop and be thankful for because it's just so automatic. Moving, breathing, being. That's what we do everyday. But what makes it possible is a biological marvel that we're lucky to have been created with, or evolved with depending on what you believe in. No judgement either way here, just saying.
