Staying healthy during the festive season

So, with Christmas rapidly creeping up on us, it is that time of the year where we tend to eat too much, drink too much, and struggle to find time to workout. How do the rest of you cope with this?

Personally my biggest struggle is the drinking! I don't drink to get drunk, but normally I have at least 2 alcohol free days a week. During the christmas season, however, I tend to drink nearly every night, and drink more in one evening than I normally do. I can feel when it catches up with me - I am more sluggish, I struggle through my workouts, my skin is not good, and I tend to not sleep as well. I am thinking I need a 'substitute drink', so I can pour myself something instead of a wine on occasion - maybe a sparkling grape juice?

Anyways, I would love to hear about what you all struggle with the most and how you cope! :)
