Delayed onset muscle soreness

Very proud on Monday to have done the Spartan 500 challenge (lots of encouragement and several extra breaks) plus strength training. Legs pretty sore yesterday. Did a low impact recovery workout this morning (couldn’t face a the scheduled round of HIIT with the pain but wanted to do something). Now limping, left calf especially sore. Definitely worse when I’ve been sitting, slightly better with ongoing movement (e.g. walking - very hard to start though and tender to touch). Haven’t felt ‘well’ all day. Still only DOMS? Advice for tomorrow’s workout or give it a rest all together? (I’m thinking the HIIT is still out). Currently supposed to be doing FB adventure, week 2.
