Help with dieting

Hey you guys,

So it's that time of year where we are all being constantly tempted by all of the holiday foods.

For me this can very quickly become a problem. It's really embarrassing for me but I used to have a tendency to over eat I would continue to eat even though my body would tell me I was full. Being surrounded by all kinds of delicious foods during the holidays this habit tends to come back for me and I always just end up completely disgusted with myself and terrified I'm going to gain all the weight back.... does anyone else have this problem and if so what do you do to crush the cravings that you have or ensure that you are not ignoring your body's signals when your brain is telling you I want more? I would love any kind of advice to help get me through this time of year.
