Breakfast Mushrooms!

#chefinthemaking strikes again.

Simple breakfast turned into heaven in my mouth!

Scrambled egg whites with paprika, roasted baby potatoes, fresh “constellation” tomatoes...and the pièce de résistance - Chanterelle mushrooms on fresh sourdough bread.

Biting into them, I immediately turned and gave her the, “what in the holy heck is this goodness in my mouth” look. She just smiled and nodded.

Well done, wife. Well done.

Mushrooms were sautéed in avocado oil, then she threw in some garlic, rosemary, white wine, salt, and pepper.

Heaven.
