Calf tension during hamstring stretch

Hey guys. Just recently I tried to find out via google why I feel the bent over hamstring stretch in my calves. Aparantly its due to nerve tension which is not helped by usual stretching. There are exercises out there called nerve flossing which is supposed to help.

I had been wondering why it felt so weird and why I was so inflexible with that stretch. Now I know! I can barely touch my toes and after a year of fitness blender and regular stretching I have not increased flexibility in that position at all.

I'm wondering if anyone else experiences this and if nerve flossing or something else has helped??
