Hair care while working out

One thing that I always hear about hair care is to not wash your hair every day because it gets rid of your hair's natural oils. I would love to follow this advice, but I am a germaphobe and I work out 5 times a week so it is almost impossible for me to not shower every day. Like, think about it... There's a bunch of sweat in your hair and you're lying down on a sweaty, dirty exercise mat on the floor and then you're going to sleep on a pillow that your face also touches every night. Plus, I do a lot of cleaning at my job which makes me feel very dirty afterwards. I've heard dry shampoo is good, but my germaphobe-ness will not let me believe that it's acceptable enough to go to sleep with dirty hair. Is there a solution to my problem or is my hair eternally doomed to be damaged and dry? Do you guys shower after every workout?
