Calorie counts on upper body workouts

I have a question - and am generally confused about how much attention to pay to the calorie estimates, especially on upper body workouts.

Take this one:

There's a much earlier functional strength routine that, as far as I can see, does fewer types of exercise but for five minutes longer.

However, the max calorie count on the earlier one is almost 80% more than on the new one (around 580). Why is that the case? Is it because the new one is by Kelli and the older one by Daniel?

And since I generally lift heavier than Kelli, should I worry about this at all, or just assume that most upper body strength workouts of similar length will burn similar amounts of calories?
