Bodyweight only

Hi guys

Sorry if this has been asked before but does I wanted to know if body weight only workouts count as strength training?

I ask because I usually use dumbells 3-4 times a week (either 1x upper, 1x lower and 1x total workout per week OR 2x upper and 2x lower workouts per week depending on how much motivation I have for that week.

I wanted to incorporate just body weight training videos on somedays but not sure if it will be enough for my below goal.

My goal is to lose a bit of stubborn fat around my waist (which I know my diet is holding me back on but im working on it) ;) I also do cardio or HIIT before my strength training workouts regardless on what strength workout I'm doing. Also if you needed to know I am maintaining my weight and have been 8.10 stone for months on 1800 calories per day (I am 5.6 feet tall)
