I'm having difficulty remaining motivated. I was very fit about 10 years ago. Surgeries and arthritis, forced me to stop fitness activities I loved, and with that lost social connections and part of my identity. My partner is still heavily involved, wants me to be there, but I risk further joint breakdown. I try to commit to daily workouts, but I'm not doing great. Hard workouts and being outside always helped. Now pain is more common, results appear slow, and I feel shame to complain. Any other females over 55 with similar challenges?
