Need some clarification

My child is 2.5 years old now. I have lost weight but still, I have a protruded upper tummy. I did a Diastis Recti test and just learned that I have it. So now what to do? Do I drop my ab routine and programme I have & start with the beginner DRA exercises? I’m not a beginner & my core is strong. My other question. If I am successful at closing my muscle gap, can I return to “normal ab” exercises?
