Pain while doing side push-ups

Hello guys!

There's this one (and only one) exercise that no matter how many different ways I try, it always creates pain. The infamous side wall push-up. Please tell me, does anyone else have this trouble?! I always feel a tingling of pain in my elbow while doing this exercise, even though I'm trying to keep my form correct. Is there something I'm doing wrong? How do you do it without getting pain in your elbow?
