My husband and I eat pretty badly. We have a few good meals that are healthy, but neither of us grew up eating whole or clean food. What are some of your favorite easy go to meals that are healthy and good for people who are still learning to appreciate clean eating? Neither of us are fond of beans which is one of the healthy bases for everything it seems and we can't bring ourselves to eat them that often especially as a main flavor. Fresh produce is hard to get here in the winter--at least good fresh produce, lots of less than optimal choices though.
I'm hoping I can find a good recipe that I substitute in and hopefully we will both like it and it can become a staple meal.
