More Trickery and Follow-Up Fusion Dinner from #chefinthemaking

“Hey wife, what was that dish you made for family meal at the restaurant a few days ago? I bet it was good, huh?”

...is yet another strategy I use to get my #chefinthemaking thinking about what I may want for dinner, but am afraid to ask for.

Yesterday night, well after her normal dinner-planning period, she still hadn’t decided what to make. Then things kicked into overdrive with that simple question.

What appeared in front of me tonight was an Uyghur-Italian (I guess) fusion dish. No idea what you’d call it...lagmanetti? Spaghettiagman?Part lagman (a Central Asian dish) and part spaghetti.

Love my fusion wife! ;)

Anyway, all I know is that it was super good. Carrot, pepper, onion, celery, tomato, cumin, coriander, Asian chives, cilantro...with whole wheat spaghetti.
