Lower body HIIT + pilates

I've recently been doing FitnessBlender's bodyweight round 2 program and today was a HIIT routine folllowed by a long pilates routine that really hammered my lower body!

I've usually only tacked on pilates at the end of a strength routine as a burnout round, so this was the first time I did it after a HIIT workout and boy was it hard to control my legs for the slow, purposeful pilates moves. It really made me concentrate and work hard and it was great!

I'm currently doing the bodyweight program because I've had to spend 3 weeks away from home and am still wanting to get some exercise in - so what better way than to utilise one of FitnessBlender's programs specially made for a situation like this!

The program has been pretty dynamic and fun so far and it's a nice change from doing strength training with weights.
