Increasing the workout intensity at home

Hey guyssss!! I’m finally back from a one week holiday (and a rest from strength workouts) and I hit my first total body session today. I missed this feeling so much tho☺️

What is everyone up to today? What are your workout plans? Are you resting or getting your workout complete? Tell me something!!❤️

Also I have a question. Since I workout at home, the only dumbells I have are one pair of 2 kg and a pair of 5 kg which is 14 kg complete that I workout with. And it’s been like that for more than 6 months. I can’t say I’ve hit a plateau but I feel like my workouts just aren’t intense enought. And since I don’t have the money (I don’t think my parents would allow me actually haha) to get some heavier weights, does anyone have any recommendations for how to intensify the workouts? For example, I use 14 kg in my lower body workouts, and should I maybe increase the rep numbers? Or decrease the rest period?

Or just join the gym?
