Day 5 Sugar Detox: supportive message a puppy + book recommendation

Welcome to Day 4! We are just over halfway to the completion of week one. Struggles and victories alike, I am proud of US! Regardless of mistakes and blips, we are pushing through and doing something about our goals. 🎉

If you’re looking for a literary companion to your fitness journey, I highly recommend THE BODY BOOK by Cameron Diaz and Sandra Bark. I’ve mentioned it a few times since I joined FB; apologies if this is a repeat mention for some of you. Anyway, I am still enjoying the book and refer to it often. My method of reading is I pick a chapter I’m interested in learning more about; I use it as a manual. For example, as relates to our challenge, I’ve done some perusing of Chapter 7 — “Sugar is Not A Nutrient” — it gives all sorts of info on sugar and Cameron’s own struggles with healthy living despite having always been thin. I included a screenshot of the first page, so you can get a sense of writing style (zoom in!) 🙂
