Healthy Life Challenge - Meditation Week Day 4

The meditation for today is a bit different, as it relates to our attitude to others, as well as our own state of mind. It's known as 'loving-kindness meditation'.

I wasn't sure whether to include this one, as it arises from a philosophy of benevolence that is part of the Buddhist heritage, and I was concerned that people might not like to participate in a culture they don't belong to. If that's the case, please feel free to skip this one, or to listen to the audio first and then decide; you can always repeat one of the earlier meditation challenges if you'd rather.

However, I do think this exercise aligns with the sense of friendship and generosity that exists in these forums, and as I hope to cover a range of different forms of meditation this week, I thought we might as well try it and see if it's useful for us. Personally I like doing it as it helps me to reverse a tendency I have to take relationships for granted, and to be quite solitary by default.

As always, let us know how you feel about this one!
