Hip Flexor Pain

I seem to have quite a bit of hip flexor and side hip/groin pain throughout the day. Does anyone know if there are certain workouts that may help with this or target any imbalances that may be causing this? On the flip side, does anyone know if any workouts could be making this worse (I know that when I do Ab workouts my hip flexors tend to work instead of my abs)? Thanks!
