Lack of sleep and immediate effect on workouts

Hi guys!

This is my first post here, although I've been with fitness blender for over 4 years (I miss the old app 😢)

So I've noticed that on the days that I get less than 6.5 ~ hours of to, my workout performance drops dramatically. Not so much my motivation, but when I'm actually exercising, I can't sustain exercise at a higher heart rate. This affects both Cardio and strength training, although more so HIIT. I can keep going, but I get very tired very suddenly when I'm out of breath.

I'm usually not completely sleep deprived. I get about 7 to 7.5 hours each night, with the occasional 6.5 hours. But any less and I can't really workout very well.

Anyone else feel any effects due to inadequate sleep? Any thoughts on how you manage it? (I tend to take too many breaks 😅)
