This is a little late, but I just thought I’d show y’all the food from our cookout yesterday.
We didn’t have the shortcake thing I made, because we were too full, and it was getting late anyway; so we didn’t want to waste firework time assembling it. We decided to have ice cream with berries instead since that was a little lighter. I’ll try to share the shortcake with y’all when we have it.
We had a great time yesterday cooking-out, swimming, and watching fireworks! I hope everyone had a good holiday, and remembered those serving, and those who have fought and died defending our freedom; so that we can enjoy the things we love!
