2 questions about weightlifting

hey guys so i was doing a pretty intense upper body workout today (at least it was intense for me) and my arms were pretty much toast at the end but i didn't break a sweat. Does that mean I wasn't going hard enough? I was pretty tired after it and even did a few extra reps to burn them out.

Second question, my right arm is stronger than my left arm so I alwasy try to focus on form with my left arm to make it stronger. For some reason, my right arm got more of a workout than my left arm even though i really tried to focus on the left one. I even did more repetitions on that side after the workout was over. i was lifting as heavy as i could and i reached a point where i physically could not curl past my elbow. Please tell me what this means and what i should do ! thank you :)
