Want to lose weight

I completed the adventure FB program and started it over a couple days ago. My goal is to lose 20 pounds but I’m not sure what changes to make to my lifestyle. I try my best to eat healthy Whole Foods, and I don’t count calories. How do I figure out what the apporiate amount of calories I need to start losing weight and portion sizes? Ive been timid to calorie count because I don’t want to become obsessive, but what I’m doing now isn’t working.
