Cardio-style strength training is my favorite

Turn-around routines that have no rest period are KILLER! I hit pause more than a couple of times throughout the lower body (LB) session, but I love that strength can be cardio. Especially since I don’t like cardio bc of how bored I get (unless I am walking outside) and bc my goals extend beyond being slim. I wanna be buff...ish. FYI: the “rest” period for the LB routine is jump squats. 😵

This 7-minute upper body round is no joke! My arms were on fire and it’s BW (body weight)! These types of routines require a lot of mental concentration and connection to muscle —- there’s no added distraction like heavy dumbbells —- Although I did use 1lb weights in each hand for a few moves.

I am a disgustingly sweaty mess and I’m so thrilled with the work I put in today.
