Fractured pinky finger

It looks like I have a suspected hairline fracture on my pinky finger. I have been focusing on strength training and wondering what people have done with a hurt finger?

I'm thinking of still doing dumbbell lifts but with my pinky strapped and pointing out? My doctor said it was fine that I was still doing workouts, but to be careful.

Any suggestions welcome!
