A day off is a day well spent

This has been difficult for me, taking a rest day in my 5 day workout program. But today I just had to -- my body was clearly not up for it. I was worried I'd miss that post workout feeling, that positive glow that follows you throughout the day. But one thing I love about working out at home with FB is I'm finally listening to my body and paying attention.

Years ago I was a member of a gym and participated in a class called Body Pump. In my efforts to keep up with everyone else, not to mention the music, I injured myself on more than one occasion. That is no longer an issue, and instead of missing that workout high today, I received a much needed day of rest, of peace in this hectic world. I feel rejuvenated and refreshed for tomorrow and looking forward to heading back upstairs to my little gym under the eaves.
