New workout pattern: strength + flexibility

I’ve decided that every third workout will be a flexibility/stretching routine that’s as long as my HIIT/strength routines. Today was my second cycle of this pattern. Lower body -> upper body -> total body stretch/flexibility. REPEAT. I have noticed I have less muscle tweaks in the following day (like I used to have), better range of motion when the next cycle comes around, and I just feel more loose in general. I love the feeling of my body being reset for the next cycle. I so enjoyed this particular stretching routine, last time, that I did it again today.

Today’s lunch is mackerel and brown rice warmed in the skillet with minced garlic, red onions, and topped with avocado. 🙂
